A daily ritual can be as simple as taking a few unhurried minutes with a product you enjoy using. LusHub's wellbeing direction brings together traditional-style Ayurvedic oils and modern Ayurvedic-inspired skincare. The common thread is a considered routine, rather than a promise of a particular health outcome.
Understand the product, not just the label
Ayurveda originates in India and includes a broad tradition of approaches to daily life. A modern moisturiser inspired by that tradition and a classical-style herbal massage oil can be very different products. Read the formulation, intended use and directions for each one.
The word natural does not establish that a product will suit your skin. Fragrances, essential oils and botanical ingredients may still cause reactions. Follow the label, any patch-test instructions and the supplier's warnings. Stop using a product if it irritates your skin.
Start with one change
If you want to try a new cleanser, moisturiser or hair oil, introduce it thoughtfully rather than changing everything at once. Choose the role it will play in your routine, and keep the original packaging so that its directions and ingredients remain available.
Hair oils should be used according to their own instructions. Do not assume every oil is suitable as a leave-in treatment, for the face or for heating. Likewise, a body oil is not automatically suitable for use on broken skin or around the eyes.
Give the routine a place
Keep a small, uncluttered space for the products you use regularly. Store them as directed, away from children and unsuitable heat or light. A simple tray and a clean towel may be all you need to make the routine feel intentional.
Keep wellbeing claims in perspective
Cosmetic body and hair care are not substitutes for medical advice or treatment. If you are unsure about an ingredient or have a health concern, ask an appropriately qualified professional. Our editorial focus is the experience of a daily routine, not diagnosing conditions or prescribing treatments.
